Heat's Hassan Whiteside: Listed as expected starter Sunday vs. Clippers

Whiteside (eye) is listed as the Heat's expected starter at center for Sunday's game against the Clippers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Whiteside, who has missed the Heat's previous four games with an eye injury, rejoined the team in Los Angeles ahead of Friday's loss to the Lakers. He was suited up on the bench, but wasn't available to play. While Whiteside missed Saturday's practice for personal reasons, it still appears that the team plans on having him back in the fold Sunday. Since the game tips of at 3:30 p.m. ET, the Heat won't hold a morning shootaround, so formal word on Whiteside's availability won't come until closer to game time. That being said, fantasy owners should prepare to activate Whiteside, while Willie Reed, who has posted two double-doubles while starting the past four games at center, would likely see a substantial decrease in value upon moving back to the bench.
