Report: Mo Williams headed to Atlanta in Korver trade
Backup point guard Mo Williams will be included in a deal sending former All-Star shooting guard Kyle Korver to the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources told Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal.
Williams' inclusion in the trade has yet to be determined, a source told ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
The reported deal would also send Mike Dunleavy and a 2019 protected first-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks.
In order to make room for both players, Atlanta has waived seldom-used forward Ryan Kelly, league sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein.
Williams has yet to play in an NBA game this season after undergoing knee surgery in October. The 34-year-old averaged 8.2 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per game for the Cavaliers last season.
With Korver gone, the Hawks are reportedly listening to offers for three-time All-Star Paul Millsap.
