Lakers' Luol Deng: Ruled out Thursday
Deng (biceps) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers, Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis:
Deng was unable to practice Wednesday and missed the Lakers' morning shootaround, so it doesn't come as much of a shock that he'll be sidelined for the first time all season. Coach Luke Walton has yet to name a starter in place of Deng, but rookie Brandon Ingram shapes up as the leading candidate for those duties.
