Nuggets' Wilson Chandler: Will come off bench Thursday

Chandler will come off the bench in Thursday's matchup against the Spurs, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

While the decision to move Chandler to a reserve role is somewhat surprising, coach Michael Malone may want to add some more size to the lineup to contend with the Spurs' front line of Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge. As such, Darrell Arthur will start at power forward, but Chandler should still be in line for a significant workload off the bench. Chandler has averaged 13.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 three-pointers in 32.4 minutes per game over the previous 10 contests.
