Mavs' Bogut: 'I know I could be traded'

With the deadline fast approaching, one player who is likely to see his name pop up in rumors over the next several weeks is Dallas Mavericks big man Andrew Bogut.

After being traded to the Mavericks last summer, the 7-foot center has struggled to make much of an impact in 2016-17, with injuries and poor play ultimately hampering his season.

"I'm being honest, I know I could be traded," Bogut told SB Nation's Tim Cato.

Bogut stated earlier this week that he will "most likely move on" when he becomes a free agent this summer, giving the Mavericks even more incentive to trade him before the deadline passes.

While it certainly looks like Bogut would welcome a change of scenery, the 32-year-old says he hasn't ask management to trade him at this point.

"I haven't asked to be traded," Bogut said. "That's the best answer I can give you."

The Australian big man is averaging 3.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 0.9 blocks on 45.5 percent shooting in 19 games this season.
