Watch: Nets honor Joe Johnson with video tribute in return to Brooklyn

Nicole Sweet / USA TODAY Sports

The Nets haven't been in Brooklyn long enough to forge much history there, but they took a minute Monday night to toast one of their most emblematic post-relocation players.

Joe Johnson returned to Barclays Center for the first time as a member of the Utah Jazz, and the Nets honored him with a video tribute recounting his three-and-a-half seasons (and multiple game-winners) in Brooklyn.

Johnson played 288 games for the Nets, his second-longest stay (after that in Atlanta) with any of the six teams he's played for during his 16-year career. He averaged 14.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, and shot 37.8 percent from 3-point range. He also averaged 18.3 points across 25 playoff games, and was named an All-Star in 2013-14.

He finished with seven points on 3-of-6 shooting Monday, including a dagger 3-ball that put the Jazz up 11 with under two minutes to play.
