Lowry scores season-high 41 points behind monster 4th quarter

As the saying goes, "Kyle Lowry Over Everything."

Once again, the Toronto Raptors' engine carried his team to victory, dropping a season-high 41 points in a 123-114 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. While solid the entire game, Lowry was particularly dominant in the fourth quarter, dropping 20 in the final frame.

Even more impressive was Lowry's efficiency, as he needed only 16 shots to eclipse 40 points.

"It's about winning at the end of the day," Lowry told TSN's Jack Armstrong following the contest. "Whatever it takes, I'm going to do."

The 6-foot-1 point guard has been a commanding presence of late following a slow start to the season. Lowry is coming off a December in which he averaged 24.4 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.4 rebounds on 54 percent shooting from the field and 50.4 percent from deep.

After collecting All-NBA honors in 2015-16, Lowry is putting up even better numbers this season, and looks like a shoe-in for his third straight All-Star game.

Lowry chipped in eight rebounds, seven assists, and six threes in the victory.
