Ariza has apparently moved on from incident with Mavericks' Mejri

After eight technical fouls, two flagrant fouls, and some negative comments towards his family, Trevor Ariza is apparently not dwelling on Tuesday's game versus the Dallas Mavericks.

The game between Houston and Dallas wasn't anything to write home about - the Rockets took the win 123-107 - but the extra-curricular activities were what made it notable. Mavs center Salah Mejri apparently made some derogatory comments towards Ariza, concerning his wife and children. Ariza and a couple of his Rockets teammates allegedly waited outside the Mavericks' locker room to confront Mejri after the game, but the second-year center out of Tunisia was escorted out another door to avoid any theatrics.

Ariza, however, now seems to be over the whole situation.

"I don't have no thoughts on it, right now," Ariza told ESPN's Calvin Watkins. "I know what happened. He knows what happened. That's it."

The words exchanged between the two players will most likely never be known, but according to Mejri, he didn't say anything about Ariza's family, and he is very committed to "mutual respect" on the basketball court.

The Rockets are one of the best teams the league has to offer, and the Mavericks, well, the Mavericks aren't quite on their level. Ariza has forgotten about the drama with Mejri and is fully committed to shifting focus to the next opponent.

"Everything has been taken care of," Ariza continued. "Now what we're trying to do is focus on the game (against the Los Angeles Clippers) we have to play tomorrow, which is an important game tomorrow, especially for us. We're trying to get better as a team and leave the past in the past."
