Heat's McRoberts out indefinitely with stress reaction in foot

It's back to the infirmary for Josh McRoberts, who hasn't been able to catch a break since joining the Miami Heat, unless we're talking about the one in his foot.

McRoberts is out indefinitely with a stress reaction in his left foot, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Tuesday, according to Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post. It's the same injury that shelved McRoberts for the first seven games of the season.

The initial injury was the result of his premature return from a fracture he suffered - and played through - during the Heat's second-round playoff series against the Toronto Raptors last season.

In 22 games this season, McRoberts has averaged 4.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting 37.6 percent from the field and 41.9 percent from 3-point range.

He's missed 118 games since signing a four-year, $22-million deal with Miami in 2014.
