Kings' Rudy Gay: Questionable for Monday

Gay (hip) is questionable to play Monday against the 76ers, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Analysis:

Gay has been sidelined for the past six games with the strained hip, but the Kings are maintaining hope that he'll be able to suit up Monday. Even if Gay ends up being ruled out, the Kings should at least benefit from increased depth at forward with Omri Casspi (illness) listed as probable following a five-game absence. The impending return of Casspi and perhaps Gay would result in less playing time for Anthony Tolliver and Matt Barnes.
