The officials swallowed their whistles on the final play of the Christmas Day thriller between the Cavaliers and Warriors.

After Kyrie Irving put the Cavs ahead by a point with just 3.4 seconds to play, the Warriors came out of a timeout looking to get Kevin Durant a shot for the win.

The Cavs had Richard Jefferson guarding him, and Jefferson appeared to step on Durant's foot after the Warriors star caught the inbounds pass in the corner. Durant stumbled and fell, and as he hoisted a 28-foot prayer from his back, Jefferson was already running the other way, scot-free, with a finger raised in the air.

Durant minced no words after the game.

"I was trying to go, trying to make a move," he told reporters. "I fell. And I didn't fall on my own."
