Lakers' Larry Nance: X-ray comes back negative on knee

An X-ray on Nance's left knee came back negative, but he's expected to undergo a follow-up MRI on Wednesday, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Nance was unable to walk off the court under his own power after suffering the left knee injury during Tuesday's 117-113 loss to the Hornets. While it looks like he avoided any structural damage to the knee, he still could be in line for a multi-game absence if the MRI indicates he's suffered any sort of serious sprain. At this point, Nance should be considered doubtful for Thursday's matchup with the Heat, but we'll another update should come forth Wednesday.
