Gibson: I don't remind Wade about dunking on him, but he knows
Taj Gibson once did a very bad thing to Dwyane Wade.
In Game 1 of the 2011 Eastern Conference finals, the Chicago Bulls power forward put Wade - who played for the Miami Heat - on a poster.
The two are teammates now after Wade joined his hometown Bulls in free agency during the offseason.
They're chummy these days, but Gibson doesn't bring up the dunk to the 12-time All-Star because it's been a source of tension between them.
"I try not to say anything because it was some static between us for a few years because of that," the 31-year-old recently told James Herbert of CBS Sports. "So I try not to say anything about that and just go out there and play. But in the back of his head, he knows."
Chicago won the game, but Miami went on to take the series 4-1 before falling in the Finals to the Dallas Mavericks. Now Gibson is praising "Smooth's" leadership, while the Mavs and Heat are among the worst teams in the league.
