Pacers' Thaddeus Young: Double-double against Wizards

Young scored 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and added 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 38 minutes in Monday's 107-105 win over the Wizards.

Analysis:

Young's tip-in bucket with less than a second remaining in the fourth quarter secured the victory Monday, putting the icing on his double-double night. The 28-year-old is averaging just 6.2 boards per game on the season and had just two rebounds in 33 minutes in the Pacers' previous contests, so double-double production shouldn't be expected with much regularity. That said, coach Nate McMillan is clearly comfortable leaning heavily on Young, who is averaging 36.0 minutes per game over his last six appearances to go with 11.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 1.5 assists and 1.5 three-pointers per contest.
