Bulls' Taj Gibson: Will play Monday vs. Pistons

Gibson (hip) will start at power forward for Monday's game against the Pistons, Pistons radio play-by-play announcer Mark Champion reports.

Analysis:

Gibson was pulled early from Friday's matchup with the Bucks because of a bruised hip, but it appears the injury wasn't all too serious and he's good to go for Monday. Look for him to take on his normal role in the starting lineup and he's not expected to see any sort of minutes restrictions. Gibson is averaging 12.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 blocks over 28.2 minutes per game this season.
