Nets' Lopez will rest Tuesday vs. Raptors

Brook Lopez will not play in Tuesday's game against the Raptors due to rest purposes, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Analysis:

Lopez has played 30-plus minutes and scored 20-plus points in each of his last four games but will get the night off when the Nets travel to Toronto. It's likely he returns when the team returns home to play the Warriors, but in his absence, Luis Scola would be in line to start at center and see extended minutes in the frontcourt.
