Lakers' D'Angelo Russell: Will be rested Tuesday vs. Hornets
Russell will sit out Tuesday's game against the Hornets for rest, Baxter Holmes of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
While it's being labeled as rest, Russell is reportedly still dealing with a sore knee, so it's definitely a situation to monitor after also being held out of Saturday's tilt with the Cavaliers. As long as he can shake the lingering discomfort, Russell should be available by Thursday's matchup with the Heat, but in his absence, Jordan Clarkson, Nick Young and Lou Williams should be the main contributors in the Lakers' backcourt.
