Warriors' David West: Could play Saturday

West (hip) could play in Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers, Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Analysis:

It was reported Friday that there was no timetable for West's return after he was diagnosed with a hip pointer, but he took part in portions of Saturday's shootaround, suggesting there's a possibility he may take the court. One way or another, West's injury isn't believed to be serious, so he shouldn't be facing any sort of lengthy absence.
