West had an MRI on Friday that revealed a hip pointer, and he remains without a timetable for his return, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.

Analysis:

West left Thursday's game in the fourth quarter against the Knicks, and his absence would leave the Warriors light on frontcourt depth with Zaza Pachulia (wrist) also out for the time being. West should be considered on a game-by-game basis for now, with Kevon Looney and JaVale McGee likely taking on more time in the frontcourt for as long as both West and Pachulia are out.
