Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge: Returns to starting lineup, tallies 14

Aldridge (rest) returned to the San Antonio starting lineup Thursday during a 107-92 win against Phoenix and tallied 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and five turnovers across 27 minutes.

Analysis:

Aldridge's return in the second game of San Antonio's back-to-back set sent David Lee back to the bench. The 6-11 forward is averaging just 10.5 points in his last four games. The Spurs' ability to blow out an opponent along with the team's habit of resting players have the potential to cut into Aldridge's minutes and productivity as the season goes along.
