Wizards' Ian Mahinmi: Expected to miss next two games

Mahinmi (knee) is expected to miss Wednesday's game against the Hornets and Friday's game against the Pistons, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Mahinmi, who has been sidelined since Nov. 26, has only taken part in limited activity at this point in his recovery from a sore right knee, so he'll be sidelined for at least a couple more games. Marcin Gortat should continue to take on huge minutes, with Jason Smith and Andrew Nicholson seeing only limited playing time behind him.
