Jazz's Alec Burks: Still not practicing

Burks (ankle) was able to work out on the side during Monday's practice, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.

Analysis:

Burks, who has been sidelined all season while he continues to rehab his surgically-repaired ankle, has yet to rejoin the Jazz for practice, suggesting a return likely isn't on the horizon. During Monday's activity, he worked on jump-stop balance, but he likely has a long way to go before the Jazz clear him to do more strenuous workouts. He'll likely occupy only a minimal role off the bench when he eventually returns, so Burks doesn't make for a strong stash option in fantasy leagues.
