Lakers' Jordan Clarkson: Settling back into bench role

Clarkson provided 15 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four assists, two rebounds and one steal across 22 minutes in Monday's 116-92 loss to the Kings.

Analysis:

With D'Angelo Russell (knee) and Nick Young (calf) both suiting up in the last two games, Clarkson has transitioned back to a bench role following a two-game stint as the starting point guard. While the 22 minutes he received Monday tied his fewest of the season, it was mainly a byproduct of the Lakers trailing by 17 points at the end of three quarters. Clarkson had only averaged 13.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game as a starter compared to 14.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game as a reserve, so his fantasy value won't take much of a hit now that he's serving as the team's sixth man again.
