Lakers' Nick Young: Will play Monday

Young (calf) will play in Monday's game against the Kings and likely be without a minutes restriction, Mike Trudell of Lakers.com reports.

Analysis:

The fact that Young is requesting more playing time shows that he is feeling more than healthy after nursing a calf injury. Young played just 20 minutes against the Knicks Sunday, but expect the shooting guard to see an increase in time on the floor Monday with head coach Luke Walton putting less of a restriction on Young.
