Pelicans' Jrue Holiday: Probably for Sunday

Holiday (toe) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Suns, ESPN.com's Justin Verrier reports.

Analysis:

Holiday has missed the last three contests with a turf toe injury, and since he had sat out Saturday's loss to the Clippers, it wasn't expected that he'd be ready to go for the second half of the back-to-back set. However, the probable designation implies that Holiday has made progress in his recovery, and if he's ultimately cleared to play, he could be allowed to take back his spot in the starting lineup right away. Even if that doesn't materialize right away, Holiday's presence will result in fewer minutes for the likes of Tim Frazier, Buddy Hield and Langston Galloway.
