Heat's James Johnson: Upgraded to questionable for Monday

Johnson (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Monday's matchup with the Wizards, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Analysis:

Johnson, Luke Babbitt (hip), Justise Winslow (wrist) and Dion Waiters (groin) all sat out the Heat's recently-completed three-game road trip, but it appears the former two options could be cleared to play Monday against the Wizards. The Heat are expected to provide formal updates on the statuses of Johnson and Babbitt following the team's morning shootaround Monday, but the fact that Johnson was upgraded to questionable suggests a return is on the horizon, even if he ultimately doesn't suit up against the Wizards. Johnson has been a serviceable reserve at the two forward spots this season, averaging 9.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 three-pointers across 24.3 minutes per game over his 20 appearances.
