Pacers' Paul George: Erupts for season-high 37 in Saturday's win

George scored 37 points (13-27 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT) while adding five rebounds, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Saturday's 118-111 win over the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

The 37 points were a season high for George, but he's scored 20 or more in four straight games and seems fully recovered from the ankle injury that cost him six games at the end of November. So far, he's off last year's career-best scoring pace, but the culprit has been a decrease in shot attempts rather decreased performance, as George's 92.2 percent free throw rate is a career high, while his 44.5 percent shooting from the floor would be his best since his rookie season.
