Lakers' D'Angelo Russell: Ruled out Sunday

Russell (knee) went through a full practice Saturday, but will remain out Sunday against the Knicks, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Analysis:

It was the second full practice for Russell as he looks to return from a sore left knee, but the Lakers will continue to handle him with caution. As such, Russell will remain out Sunday, but could be back on the court as early as Monday's matchup with the Kings in Sacramento. Considering it's been a relatively lengthy absence, Russell's minutes may be monitored for a few games once he returns.
