Fourteen-year-old Brandon Kelman wasn't expected to walk or talk after being diagnosed with infantile spasms as a baby. But, he's able to do both now, and was recently given the opportunity to meet his idol, Stephen Curry.

Kelman didn't play or watch sports as a young kid, but became hooked on basketball after his younger brother showed him video of Curry nailing a half-court shot. He told his mother how badly he wanted to meet Curry, and after getting in touch with the Golden State Warriors, she made it happen.

"He said to me, 'Mom, my only wish is to meet Steph Curry.' Might as well tell me I want to meet Barack Obama," his mother, Georgianna Junco-Kelman, told KTVU. "I went on this mission to help him meet his hero. Facebook, social media, got re-shared and re-shared. Long story short, I was connected to the Warriors, and here we are."
