Pacers' C.J. Miles: Drills six three-pointers off bench

Miles tallied 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-9 3Pt), four rebounds, two steals and one assist across 28 minute in Friday's 111-103 loss to the Mavericks.

Analysis:

As is often the case, Miles did his damage behind the arc, with the six three-pointers representing a season high. In Friday's contest, Miles ended up eating primarily into the court time of starting shooting guard Monta Ellis, who has struggled mightily over the past six games. Coach Nate McMillan could consider dropping Ellis from the top unit if he fails to turn it around, which would likely translate to an increased role for Miles.
