Pelicans' Jrue Holiday: "Probably not" playing Saturday

Head coach Alvin Gentry said Holiday (toe) is "probably not" playing in Saturday's game against the Clippers, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Holiday missed the last two games with his toe injury, and Gentry's comment points to him missing a third straight game Saturday. Holiday's status beyond Saturday's contest is uncertain, but the Pelicans will play again Sunday, and the quick turnaround could make it tough for him to play that day as well.
