Heat's Josh Richardson: Won't play Friday, could play Saturday

Richardson (ankle) rejoined the Heat in Cleveland Friday, but will not play against the Cavaliers and could return for Saturday's game against the Bulls, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

A return on Saturday would be surprising for Richardson, as he was originally ruled out for the team's entire road trip, which ends in Chicago. Richardson is at shootaround on Friday and his status will likely be determined following some more activity on Saturday, but this is surely an encouraging sign for the shooting guard's recovery.
