Trail Blazers' Ed Davis: Returning to bench

Davis will come off the bench in Thursday's game against the Grizzlies, Jason Quick of Comcast SportsNet reports.

Analysis:

Davis had been seeing some spot starts in place of the injured Al-Farouq Aminu (calf) but is now being benched in favor of Meyers Leonard. Expect Davis to see a slight reduction in minutes now that he's returning to his typical bench role.
