Pelicans' Jrue Holiday: Ruled out for Thursday

Holiday (toe) has been ruled out of Thursday's tilt with the Sixers, Scott Kushner of The Advocate reports.

Analysis:

Holiday will be missing a second consecutive game, as he's still dealing with some discomfort in his toe. E'Twaun Moore (toe) has also been ruled out, so the Pelicans are expected to roll out a starting backcourt of Tim Frazier and Buddy Hield, both of which should see extended minutes while working with the top unit. Holiday will continue to go through additional rest and rehabilitation, with his next shot to take the court on Saturday against the Clippers.
