Raptors' DeMarre Carroll: Will start at small forward Thursday

Carroll (rest) will play in Thursday's game against the Timberwolves, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

Analysis:

It was reported earlier Thursday that Carroll was expected to be rested during one of the games of the Raptors' current back-to-back set. He'll take the court Thursday against the Timberwolves, but is then expected to be rested against the Celtics on Friday. Look for him to take on his normal role as the team's starting small forward, likely pushing towards minutes in the mid-to-upper 20's.
