Black (ankle) will not play in Friday's game against the Suns.

Analysis:

Black is dealing with a right ankle sprain and after missing Monday's game against the Jazz, he'll sit out a second consecutive contest Thursday. While Timofey Mozgov is expected to take on a larger minutes load at center with Black sidelined, he did log just 15 minutes on Wednesday, which means guys like Julius Randle, Larry Nance and Thomas Robinson could be the bigger beneficiaries.
