Nets waive Yogi Ferrell

The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on guard Yogi Ferrell, the team announced Thursday.
Ferrell appeared in 10 games for the Nets after signing with the team in November, averaging 5.4 points and 1.7 assists in 15.1 minutes per game.
With rookie guard finally Caris LeVert back from a left foot injury, the Nets no longer had a place for Ferrell on their roster.
Brooklyn has yet to announce whether Ferrell will return to its D-League affiliate now that their season is underway.
