Raptors' DeMarre Carroll: To rest Friday or Saturday

Carroll is expected to sit out either Thursday's game against the Timberwolves or Friday's matchup with the Celtics for rest, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

Analysis:

Carroll has been sitting out one game of back-to-back sets all season, so this move was fully expected. Coach Dwane Casey has yet to determine which game he'll hold Carroll out of, so consider him questionable for Thursday's tilt with the Timberwolves for the time being. We should get a better indication of his availability as tipoff approaches, but if he doesn't give it a go, look for Norman Powell to jump into the starting lineup.
