Lakers' Julius Randle: Posts double-double in Wednesday's loss

Randle recorded 21 points (9-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, and one assist in 29 minutes during the Lakers' 134-95 loss to the Rockets on Wednesday.

Analysis:

After struggling badly over the past weekend, Randle has contributed back-to-back doubles against the Jazz and Rockets to begin this week, and now has six double-doubles and one triple-double through 21 appearances in 2016-17. Though he is hauling down 8.9 rebounds in 27.9 minutes per game compared to 10.2 boards in 28.2 minutes per last year, the 22-year-old forward has improved his numbers in most categories, including scoring, assists, blocks, and field-goal percentage.
