Heat's Wayne Ellington: Scores 19 in third straight start

Ellington scored 19 points (7-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and added three rebounds and two assists in 41 minutes during Wednesday's 103-95 loss to the Hawks.

Analysis:

Ellington led the Heat in minutes Wednesday. With Dion Waiters (groin), Justise Winslow (wrist), Josh Richardson (ankle), and Luke Babbitt (hip) sidelined, the Heat need healthy bodies, and Ellington is performing admirably. He is averaging 15.0 points, 3.0 threes, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists as a starter. Though he does very little other than threes and scoring, he does enough there to warrant ownership in most fantasy settings - at least until some of the injured Heat players begin to return.
