Jazz's Rodney Hood: Ruled out for Thursday

Hood (hamstring) has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Warriors, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Hood was forced to leave Tuesday's game against the Suns early due to a sore hamstring, so it appears he's still dealing with enough discomfort to be ruled out a day in advance. That said, the original diagnoses was just some soreness, so the Jazz may just be extending some extra caution to avoid a further aggravation. Hood's next opportunity to take the court will be Saturday against the Warriors, but with George Hill (toe) also sidelined, the Jazz will likely lean heavily on the likes of Shelvin Mack, Dante Exum and Joe Johnson in the backcourt.
