Lakers' Brandon Ingram: Moves to bench role Wednesday

Ingram will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Mark Medina of L.A. Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Ingram has started the last few games with Nick Young (calf) still sidelined, but coach Luke Walton wants to shake up the guard rotation Wednesday, so he's inserting Jordan Clarkson and Marcelo Huertas into the starting lineup, while pushing Ingram and World Peace back to the bench. That said, Ingram's demotion to a bench role doesn't necessarily mean a huge drop in minutes and with a lot of bodies still out with injuries, it wouldn't be surprising if he still pushed for minutes in the upper-20's to low-30's.
