Hawks' Kent Bazemore: MRI shows no structural damage

Bazemore, who's already been ruled out of the team's next two contests, had an MRI performed on his knee Wednesday, which showed no structural damage, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

After undergoing the MRI, it appears Bazemore has been cleared of anything serious and he truly is just dealing with some soreness in his right knee. He's expected to sit out the next two games to rest the knee, with his next opportunity to take the court Tuesday against the Magic. Coach Mike Budenholzer already announced that Tim Hardaway Jr. will start in Bazemore's place for the duration of his absence, which should provide the opportunity for Hardaway Jr. to see a temporary boost in fantasy value.
