Bulls' Denzel Valentine: Falls out of rotation Tuesday
Valentine (coach's decision) didn't play in Tuesday's 102-91 loss to the Pistons.
Analysis:
With Rajon Rondo returning from a one-game suspension and Dwyane Wade cleared to play both halves of the Bulls' back-to-back set, Valentine dropped out of coach Fred Hoiberg's rotation entirely. It ended a 10-game streak of appearances for Valentine, but since he shot just 25 percent from the floor in those contests, he didn't make a compelling case for Hoiberg to look his way. Valentine's path to a rotation spot will only become more difficult when Doug McDermott (concussion) returns, perhaps as soon as Thursday's tilt with the Spurs.
