Hawks' Kent Bazemore: To miss next two games

Kent Bazemore will sit out the Hawks' next two games due to a sore right knee, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Bazemore played only 18 minutes in Monday's loss to the Thunder, finishing scoreless while going 0-of-7 from the field. The wing was limited Tuesday, and the team will now hold him out of the next two games in an effort to rest the troublesome right knee. As such, Bazemore will sit out Wednesday against the Heat and Friday against the Bucks before potentially returning for Tuesday's home matchup with the Magic. Coach Mike Budenholzer announced Wednesday that Tim Hardaway, Jr. will start in Bazemore's place, while Kyle Korver will continue to come off the bench.
