76ers' Jerryd Bayless: Will not play Thursday

Bayless (wrist) will not travel to New Orleans on Thursday for the team's game against the Pelicans, Brian Seltzer of Sixers.com reports.

Analysis:

Thursday will mark Bayless' seventh straight absence with the sore left wrist and he remains without a timetable to return to the floor. Sergio Rodriguez will continue to start at point guard in Bayless' absence with T.J. McConnell serving as the primary backup. Bayless' next opportunity to play will be Sunday at Detroit, but it seems more likely for him to play when the team returns home next Wednesday against Toronto.
