Heat's Josh Richardson: Ruled out for next four games

Richardson (ankle) won't play in Tuesday's game against the Knicks and has been ruled out for the team's subsequent three-game road trip, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Richardson did go through Monday's practice in a limited fashion, but the Heat evidently weren't convinced that he'd be capable of returning to game action within the next week. With Dion Waiters (knee), Justise Winslow (wrist), James Johnson (shoulder) and Luke Babbitt (hip) also out for the next four games, the Heat will be forced to rely heavily on Rodney McGruder, Tyler Johnson and Wayne Ellington for minutes in the backcourt and on the wing.
