Wizards' Ian Mahinmi: Won't play Tuesday vs. Magic

Mahinmi (knee) won't play in Tuesday's game against the Magic, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

It's the fifth straight game Mahinmi will miss due a sore right knee. According to Candace Buckner of The Washington Post, Mahinmi underwent an MRI last week, with coach Scott Brooks indicating that "everything was fine," so there doesn't appear to much long-term concern with his health. While Mahinmi is out, Jason Smith and Andrew Nicholson will see most of the minutes behind starting center Marcin Gortat.
