Hornets' Nicolas Batum: Gets second straight double-double Monday

Batum finished with 14 points (5-14 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 15 rebounds and seven assists across 37 minutes in Monday's 109-101 win over the Mavericks.

Analysis:

It's the second double-double in a row for Batum, though this time he did it with points and rebounds after he racked up 15 points and 12 assists in Saturday's 125-120 loss to the Timberwolves. Batum continues to hold down an anemic 38.1 percent mark from the field on the season, but that's easy enough to stomach when he's still filling it up across the board with averages of 13.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.1 steals per game.
