Rockets' Eric Gordon: Practicing Tuesday, expects to play Wednesday

Gordon (ankle) participated in practice Tuesday and said he's fine to play Wednesday against the Lakers, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston (KRIV) reports.

Analysis:

Though he came away from Monday's 107-106 win over the Celtics with a sprained ankle, it was apparently only minor in nature, and Gordon's successful practice session indicates he won't miss any time because of the injury. Gordon finished Monday's game with 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field and 4-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc, marking his fifth consecutive game with at least 18 points and at least four three-pointers.
